Saw these boat at the park. Here in Michigan we are experiencing a good above 80's temperature which is really good since our summer is not that warm and hot.

Bake Trout

I discover this dish when I was at my friends house. We had a get together and she cook this one. She cooked many different food but this one in particular is my most favorite. So I asked her what she did. First, she told me she bought the fish at Costco. She clean the fish and bake it for 45 minutes for 350F. You know it is done because the meat is flaky. When it is done take it out from the oven. While baking the fish prepare a pan, saute onions, garlic, ginger, bokchoy and bell pepper when it is done put it to the fish dish. Then put back the fish into the oven while it is hot covered the dish in foil. When you are ready to eat you can take it out oh by the way do not forget to season it with salt  and pepper. Eat hot!

Giniling Baka (Ground Beef)

I remember this dish because this is always my favorite to order everytime I eat in a Carenderia (fast food eatery). My mother used to cook this too and until now I know that this dish needs tomatoes and tomato paste. I tried cooking this before with out tomatoes and paste it taste different this time I got it.

I diced the carrots and potatoes

I saute the onions then the garlic. After they are all translucent in color put the ground beef and stir.

When it is brown put the diced tomatoes and tomato paste.  I also seasoned it with fish sauce. I also mixed a little of raisins and green peas.

This is hot and done still inside the wok. A very easy dish.

Front Yard

                                                       Took this in Holland, Michigan
This is a pretty front yard.

                                                      Took this in Petoskey, Michigan
This is a sad front yard. I like the design of the house but you can see it looks like it's been abandoned for some time.

Mango Tea

It feels a different this year. Usually by the end of August we started to get cold but not this year the month of July has some days that are cold but mostly we have a pretty warm day and that is when I decided to make this kind of juice or tea. I noticed that in summer hubby tend to drink more pop than water or coffee so this juice/tea does make him not drink too much of pop.

Easy thing to do here:

This are the ingredients. Mango juice, one orange and four tea bags
I open the mango juice and slice the oranges mix them together in this pyrex glass.

Then I prepare water let it boil in a tea pot. put the tea bags. Let it cool.

Take the tea bags put the tea inside a water pitcher then the mango juice and the slices orange.

Let it cool it taste so good!!
