The first time I drink this juice is when hubby and I went to a Vietnamese Restaurant. I saw how it is prepared and find it very cool. The second time I had it is when I was in Singapore last month. It is pretty common there to get a fresh sugar cane juice. Does it taste good it depends on your taste. Hubby says it is an acquired taste and I agree by it.

I actually love sugar cane! I remember buying sugar canes in a province while traveling, years ago. Though I think I'd prefer the juice since I won't have a hard time munching, chewing and tearing my way through the cane.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Food Trip Friday, Madz of Pig Out Sessions! :)
That looks refreshing :)
ReplyDeleteI have never tried ordering sugarcane juice (i wonder what other ingredients were mixed in? or was it pure sugarcane only?). the only sugarcane juice that i ever tasted were the ones that we had at the farm - from fresh sugarcane slices! kind of messy, but really sweet. :)
